Just got an E-mail that my car has arrived and is ready for pickup! Going to the dealership after work.

I put a deposit down on a Red 2023 Limited BRZ on May 2nd, the order went through on the 10th. I just got a call yesterday that it will be arriving in port September 9th, then should get to the dealership 7-10 days later. So hopefully I should be able to pick it up within a few days of the 19th.

Be careful on that 2nd part. My car has been sitting at the rail head for 2 weeks due to driver shortages. After arriving at port the first week of August.

I wish I could just go get it, it's likely sitting at the big rail yard in DFW about 4 hours away.

I'm in no rush. That's what the salesman said on the phone, that it's been taking about that long to get to them from port. We'll see.

I put down my first deposit last September, had to cancel due to a cost overage on some home improvements. Then put down another deposit mid December, to find out a few weeks later that not only was Subaru not taking any more orders, but also cancelled mine. So it's been close to a year now, a few extra weeks from port won't bother me at this point.

Bleh! Dealer called me today. Original ETA was Nov. and is now pushed to Dec. My order was placed on May 23rd.

I ordered from Charles Copeland at Subaru Orange Coast in Tustin.

No deposit required, no dealer markup. Just MSRP.

Charles entered the order June 18 and the car arrived on August 30. So about 6 weeks.

I picked up the car on Labor Day.

The JDM front license plate holes are a shame. I ordered a Perrin License Plate Relocate and a pair of BumperPlugs.

wow! good for you! That has to be one of the fastest turn arounds, unless they already had an allocation coming that met your needs. My order went in in April, and I was told August Delivery, which was updated to September with no real estimate in sight...

Finally got my VIN! Car was ordered on 4/21/2022. My sales guy said the current ETA is 10/19. Ignition Red, Limited, 6MT.
