But Toyota and Subaru are really adamant about the FR-S/BRZ being a sports car on par with something like the Porsche 911 or any Lotus. The sales people are probably trained to treat it as such, which probably made you feel like the "ghetto person in the ferrari salon". They're not really supposed to be judging you in the first place, but oh well.

I'm happy to report that you can. Plenty of room, in fact. You'd probably be good to go with even something longer like a Mosin-Nagant.

Sadly the Nagant is about 2 inches to long to fit through the trunk opening. Side to side there was plenty of room though.

Were you able to fineagle it in? I had to do that with a few of my longer rifles in my Mazda. They were fine once I got them in but had to angle them to fit them in the opening.

I need to try with my M1895 Infantry Rifle, that's my longest. It's a couple inches longer than my M91/30.

It depends on your shaft length. If you put the seat down, turn them, then put the seat back up you should be good unless you have a long driver. I'll check wednesday. My clubs are st my girlfriends house

I'd guess you could probably get it in there by removing the drivers as well. Pics would be much appreciated!

You could pop a seat down to allow enough space to fit it through the opening and then once it is in you would have the space to move it in the trunk and close the seat. The opening was just a hair to small and I tired every which way to make it fit without damaging anything.

I packed:

-Tool Box
-Electric Air Compressor
-Racing shoes, suit, helmet and gloves
-Gear bag
-4 track wheels and tires
-Suspension Parts
-Camera Gear
-Mechanics Gloves and knee pads

Still had room for more stuff
btw i have a cusco rear strut, there would be even more space with out it lol. Of course i covered it with painters tape to avoid scratching it.

The accord used to be our go-to Ikea vehicle, but looks like the FRS wins again.

Just curious as to when people say it holds more than "xyz car", are the seats folded down as well in the other car? In your case is the honda accord seats folded down you guys are making that comparison?

I agree that the trunk is roomy for this kind of car, but ther is no way the FRS trunk with seats folded down holds more than my corolla or any other reg sedan I've been in with back seats folded down.
