I replaced other 3 hangers: the silencing effect is improved, I'd say that the rear 2 are more effective than the others, but even the other ones worth it.
Now the STi axleback is quiet as stock, but with deeper sound.

I'm going to try this on my exhaust setup as well. Great find! Currently running Tomei UEL header(coated), Tomei overpipe(coated), stock front pipe, custom mid pipe, nameless muffled axleback. Curious to see the effect.

Quick question for you guys. Did you use a company to import the parts to you or just order it from a Japanese manufacturer? I'm in the US and I'm thinking about trying to get my hands on the tomei dual exit titanium catback but it looks like my best option is ordering from companies in Australia. Didn't know if there were any other ways to grab JDM only parts.

Purchased my parts from Nengun. Here's a photo comparing the original muffler cushion(right) and the STI muffler cushion(left) replaced all 4 over the axleback portion

Why do you have to order them separate? Normally they are included with the STi muffler.

You should see the price of the STi axleback.
Wanted one until I saw that it was about 1k more than my corsa was.

They are not included. Japanparts sells them together.

Strange. I got them with the STi muffler. Maybe I was lucky.
