0 to 100 km/h times have dropped from 7.2 to 6.3 seconds for the MT and from 8.2 to 6.8 seconds for the AT.
So the auto is roughly as fast as the first gen stick.

Never a "flex disc flywheel"

She may be thinking of

But that is, as you've no doubt observed yourself, referencing the automatic.

Pretty sure a car with a heavier flywheel will be faster off the line.

Maybe she just misspoke and was really referring to a flux capacitor....

I was actually referring to Yosh when I quoted Rznt4r. I don't watch Sarah's reviews as I don't find them useful in terms of what I am looking for as far as information on a car. I also find them overly cringe inducing. Same reason I don't watch Doug, not what I am looking for in a car review.

It likely stems from the Subaru At a Glance press material that states: flexible flywheel.

Well it would be a pretty big screwup if the press kit has pics of BRZ parts in it. Ah so aluminum pedals only for premium while first Gen it all came standard.

This is the sort of thing that I really shouldn't care about, but for some reason it was a concern when was choosing which trim to go with. The aluminum pedals do look and feel better to me.

Mostly was the better tires and speakers though. Mostly.

um speakers were identical in either vehicle, they just changed the head unit to snazz it up

The limited trim gets 2 more speakers is what I read earlier.

This article is about the GT86, but I think the same trim level features apply.
https://www.motorauthority.com/news/...ew-photos-info
"Premium cars get eight speakers, leather and Alcantara seats, and a rear spoiler"

On a side note, why would any sane person decide to name the top trim premium on one and the bottom trim premium on the other? That is guaranteed to confuse people.

Calling the bottom trim premium is about the dumbest thing I ever heard.
It still takes me a few seconds to sort out in my head which is which.

Simple rule of thumb:
Premium is not premium,
Limited is not limited.
