Some come with Michelins, some Bridgestones. Bridgestones are mostly on FR-S's sold in the northern states I believe.

For some reason Amazon tells me these do not fit FR-S or BRZ. I know that the twins use 12x1.25 so not sure why Amazon says they wont fit.

But your using those exact ones? Cant find any info on their weight so was wondering if they are any lighter than stock lugs. Also does the finish chip off easily?

Yup, these exact ones. I didn't check for weight when I put them on so I can't help you there. I've had them for about 3,000 miles now and have had the wheels on and off several times, no chipping yet.

Hey guys after my first few track days I felt it was time to upgrade. Here are my new enkei kojins (19.5 lbs with weights) 17x8 +40 with 235/45r17 Hankook Ventus RS-3S. If anyone is interested in more info feel free to messge me and let me know what you think. Stock lugs for now. Sorry for the quality it started getting dark and the camera on my phones not the best. Thanks

Thanks, yes so far stock suspension. Haven't decided exactly what coilovers setup I want. Just wanted something different than rpf1s and reasonably priced. They kind of reminded me of the lmgt4s and you can't go wrong with enkei.

Looks good, but a bit heavy for a track wheel. Thanks for sharing

What size tire to get for 17X8 Kojins

I just recently purchased a set of 17X8 Kojins 40 offset, I currently have the stock tires on the new rims which are a bit stretched. These will be my dedicated summer wheels. I'm not sure what tire size to go with, Tire Rack recommends 235/40/17, but I see a lot of guys running 235/45/17. I plan on keeping stock suspension and struts. Any advice in choosing a tire size is greatly appreciated.
