Touge Therapy | GT86, WRX, Celica
A small project I had been working on for a few months. Obviously there is also a Toyota GT86 (Mine).
A small cinematic video about the spirit of the touge. I'd be glad if you looked at it. Critics as always welcome. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gi2wv3MCfSo"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gi2wv3MCfSo[/ame] |

nice!
the only critique i have is that it felt very rushed overall. less about telling a story, and more about getting specific shots.

The story, although very simple and nothing complicated, was an additional implementation to give a pinch of innovation and to entertain the public a little more given the duration of the video. I see many videos even of 20/30 minutes of beautiful car scenes but in the long run without being a little story behind they tire me because they are all different scenes that do not have a logical sense between them. Anyway thanks for the advice and I'm glad it's all of you enjoying it. |

Hate to be the cranky old guy but almost had a head on at 4:27. I'd say just keep it in the one lane next time.
Going around blind corners crossing a solid line is pretty risky stuff. |

I was worried for the other people on the road, a few close calls because idiots treat the public streets like a private race track, and then post video because they are proud of their ignorance for other people safety. Muppets

Yes, the streets were open to the public, nothing to hide.
But every scene you see where the cars overtake each other or where they are on both lanes has been recorded as safely as possible. Every time the cars come alongside in these scenes it is because the road allowed it and there was wide visibility despite the curve (therefore no trees, no rocks or something that prevented the view of at least 500 meters forward). We also had another boy who stood 500 meters / 1 km further on the road with the walkie-talkie so that he could report us if cars arrived. In many cases, we have waited and remade the scenes several times. Even though there were cars behind us we stopped to let them pass without hindering anyone. All the scenes, although it may seem that the cars move very fast, are recorded at a speed of 50/60 km / h. As for the scene at 4:27 it seems that it is risky but already you could see the car in the distance and the guy with the WRX returned in his lane having seen it at the moment he moved to the second lane. |

Explain it away anyway you like, the video shows dangerous driving on a public road.
4:27 = near head on, the drivers are knob heads. Not only were they stupid enough to drive on the wrong side of the road with oncoming traffic, they were stupid enough to film it and put it on YouTube, LOL, even with "apparently" the number plates to aid the police in identifying the vehicles. This happens quite often, luckly the police can easily find them, so in the end all is well. Unless your one of the drivers the police hit up for dangerous driving that is. LOL, well done.
