Try this~ Royal Purple Injector cleaner every other fill-up ~ 2 yrs no crickets

Chevron seems to have more lubricity additive than Shell. Shell always causes crickets for me and they seem to go away after 2 tanks of Chevron almost every time. Also, Lucas has a lubricity additive you can buy at Autozone that works pretty well.
