I'll contend that I'm thankful car content is available on YouTube. Even if I disagree with the theory, that's what the comments section is for.
I'm glad young enthusiasts are sharing their hobbies with the world through YouTube; car culture is about preferences and practices right? It's fun to be able to watch other people put their preferences into practice and not fear judgment while doing so.

I'll support the few people I really enjoy watching and appreciate the rest for being public with their endeavors.

That is why we have quick change rear ands carefully select ratios on race cars for different tracks where performance is critical.
Do not use track type requirements for street cars. Different goals.
I hesitate to post this as many on this forum use track type preparation on there cars that never see a track. (street racing? Bar stool racing?)
enjoying their own car they way they choose to. Different people have different goals and different driving environments. Some people don't care how loud a car is, some people need it to be as quiet as possible.

Track type preparation on a street car is not the same as having a competitive track car. It can just make driving more fun for that individual.

I actually agree with you, that was why I hesitated. He was talking about ruining the car, I have made many mods for self enjoyment. Not what he was talking about.

Agreed. I've got no problem with EE. Not something I use as a reference, and opinions are opinions, but I think it's good he's doing his thing. I've thought about doing something similar but I'm just sticking with the instagram stuff we're doing with the apex files for now. Maybe a podcast in the future. Mostly worried no one cares.

My issue isn't really with his content so much as his delivery. The content is sometimes way to basic though and although that is good for a base people stop there and do not learn the rest of the story.

I don't think 1st to 6th is a good idea, I haven't done. I have done shifting from 4th to 6th.

There are videos of cat's falling off furniture with twice that many views so your measurement of quality is flawed.
You know...

I always love discussing on forums because you learn new things from others and discussing with others is always pleasurable experience in general. Except this forum and mainly because of your particular posts. They're most often wrong (like this post that I'd call general useless endless rambling) and responding to them is useless because you'll just go on forever coming up with one useless argument after another.

Posting on this forum is more of a negative experience than positive mainly because of your posts. Every time I post here you come over and sh*t all over the place with your comments.

I'm logging out of this place for good and not coming back here unless I'm looking for something technical about the FT86. There's nothing positive to ever gain in this forum with you in it. I l love driving my BRZ and learning about cars in general but people like you make these public forums stink.

Agreed. New member here - just created an account a week or so ago.
He’s an enormous jackass with some mental issues. Jumped all over me in one of my threads.
Accused me of of being some other member and creating a new account or some shit.
Dude needs to get over himself. I started reading his post history and quickly sized him up. He’s an unfortunate part of this forum. He needs to take a break.

You don't like learning you like getting support for your preconceived thoughts.

And when you look for something technical and people answer you will just argue with them anyway so...

Carry on with your 1st to 6th gear shifts and when your engine dies blame the declining quality of the auto industry.
