The formula I use for Mustang to Dynojet is HP X 1.17 so 221X1.17=253 dynojet rwhp again that's factoring using correct inputs such as weight weather and so on I can't speak for how other tuners get their comparison numbers or what formula they use. I'm sure every tuner has their own way

Am I correct in assuming that a lower wcf (it is .6 in this case) would tend to balloon the hp figure and that a higher wcf(say 1.4) would decrease the hypothetical results? (as in a 250hp car dyno'd at .6wcf would read as higher hp than 250 while a run with a high wcf, say 1.4, would lower the hp reading) In other words, what is the correlation between inputted wcf and posted hp result (higher wcf= lower hp or higher wcf = higher hp)? |

The CF of .6 is larger than the .17 CF I use. I just make it 1.17 so I don't have to add the original hp number to it. the 1. is = to the hp w/o correction. SO say I dyno 180 then its 180X1.17=210.6hp So if someone uses the CF of .6 it would be 180X1.60=288hp SAME AS 180X.17=30.6 + 180= 210.6 OR 180X.6=108+180=288

Why do people even bother Just go get the damn parts that actually make the car do what you claim it does, and then go drive and enjoy it. Instead we get a puppet show. I suppose big threads like these on forums are what these people get off on.

We like to debate. Is that so wrong? Don't like the "puppet show" don't buy a ticket. Nobody dragged you in here. I hope. They didn't did they? Are those forum secret police forcing people on again? Click once if you are not here of your own free will. We will send help. They will be coming in an NA FRS so it may take a while.
