CLADDING AROUND THE WHEEL WELLS!"
To be fair the cladding was on the viziv concept so we should have known it was coming.
But then again the concept looked more aggressive and the concept seemed to have far less cladding (or the proportion of cladding to car was less)......

Plus the new Levorg uses the same design philosphy and does not have cladding around its wheel wells so.....

Subaru just making wierd decisions.

Maybe it's not a center exhaust.

Some kind of new tech like a magnetic quick-release receiver hitch?

Just sayin' . . .

The fact that the best equipped WRX only comes with an automatic is basically Subaru saying "we care less and less about our performance enthusiasts..."

Thank goodness for GR!

Never thought I'd see the day when Toyota would be the brand that fills almost every performance niche out there.

lol 3,200 lbs, the Yaris picked up >400# with this powertrain, the Corolla hatch is already ~3,100# with a MT, if it's under 3,400# with 300hp I think they did very very well, really does replace the STI and FoRS. The CTR will still have an advantage in a lot of ways but drift mode should make up for it.

Corolla's are way easier to get in and out of then 86's old man.

Ooooh there is a pic out there of the interior.....
The center console is a little bit modified from the standard corolla hatch with...

a proper manual handbrake (no electronic ebrake!) and a drive mode selector knob beside it!

So Core trim model with non LSD diffs(????), but packages available for it, releasing at the end of the year. And a one model year Circuit Pack trim model with the forged CF roof, vented hood, larger rear spoiler, and larger brakes. Available next year. No prices mentioned, but "soon." I wonder how soon that will be.

Manual tranny only as well.

Okay so I just watched the reveal and the one that leaked is the “Circuit Edition” which features the carbon fiber roof, wing, suede interior and shift
knob, with double LSD. That will be standard.

The red one, is the “base” model. Both cars will come with one year membership to NASA. Both cars, will come ONLY IN MT, and also both will be offered in Red, White, and Black. With the Circuit edition to be offered also in the Dark gunmetal. Most if the items offered in the Circuit Edition will be available as a “Sports Package” for the base model.

The Circuit Edition will be released sometime in 2023.
The base model will be offered by the Fall.

No MSRP has been released but will be soon.

Either pay a lot of extra for the Sports Package on the Core model. Or save starting today, sell a kidney, and hopefully get my hands on the Circuit Edition. Anyone wanna buy my PC?

Shit, if the GPU apocalypse was still going on, just steal and then sell like 3 3090s and you'd be able to afford it

I’ll be okay with the Core model, in white, with the Sports Package added to it. But it is happening, I’m getting this car. It would hurt less to get into an accident with a core model rather than a LIMITED run model.
