A bit more on the CSG Touring 86 Exhaust.

Seems to have got a little louder over the few days I've had it on. Not at all in a bad way, I should be clear. I really like the way it sounds!
I also like how the tips can be adjusted so that they don't sit 6 miles inset from the rear bumper like the stock ones do.

Hard to show in a picture, but the clearance everywhere is quite good, which I'm glad about given that the pipe is 0.5" larger than stock. And the tips are very close to level horizontally (close enough that unless you go in with calipers, you won't notice). I didn't have any issues getting the tips centered in the bumper holes like some have reported with some exhausts. The hangers give a good amount of adjustment, and the dimensions on the exhaust seem spot on.

Overall, extremely happy with it. Worth 1500 CAD on the road? For me, yes. The car feels much more alive than when it was stock, and has a bit more personality. I think if the car (base model) came with this sound from the factory, I'd be blown away. I think if this kind of sound came on a "performance package" or something equivalent, I'd be quite satisfied with it.

I think I'm going to order my exhaust this month. Having trouble deciding between csg touring and greddy supreme. Not sure I can hold out long enough for a similarly designed axle-back system to be available.

2022 BRZ Muffler delete(tips on order). Here is a full comparison of how the muffler delete sounds on a 2nd Gen. This is a custom job, the aftermarket options will sound very similar I assume. There are 2 that I know of available today, FT86Motorsports.com and Lachute Performance. I went local to help support a local business. By the time the tips arrive and get welded on, I will have spent under $400CND. Similar aftermarket ones will cost you about $500CND plus shipping/duty(depending where you order from) which will likely net you $600-$700CND for something a good trusted local exhaust shop could fabricate for you cheaper. Sure, the aftermarket ones look more flashy, but ultimately, who is looking under your car to see pretty your exhaust is? Not many......so, save your money, muffler delete and support local businesses.

Ya phone audio isn't always the best, was shot using an S9 so it's at least almost one of the current phones lol.

More of an appearance mod than performance, but I had my local muffler shop add some pipe to extend the tips out so they are now flush with the diffuser.

For anyone considering the Borla S-Type from the 1st gen, I reached out to Borla and they found that their older systems didn't work well with the increased output of the FA24. They said to stay tuned as they expect to release new equipment for the 2nd gen soon. Not sure how much of a difference it will make, but I thought I'd spread the word.
