Sounds great! I'm debating between HKS and the Remark Elite Spec. Remark seems to be louder with more bottom end to the tone, based on YT review/demo videos. The FTSpeed YT review video shows peaks above 100 dB, but not sure if they use the official SAE testing method.

Hopefully you're able to get some type of compensation for the tip damage. Where did you order from?

Do STI and/or GR/TRD exhausts make it state side?
Looks like last gen TRD exhaust was sold by toyota dealers. Any chance same thing happens for STI / GR exhaust for this gen?

The damage is minor but I see it and it's kind of driving me a little crazy. We'll see what happens.


I ordered it from www.tunersports.com, it was $1,062 before tax, and shipping was free.

Wanted a lightweight single-exit axleback that I could quickly swap for to on major event weekends (SCCA autox) for the minor weight savings while running the stock muffler for the vast majority of the year because I'm old and don't like loud cars anymore. Grabbed a black-tipped one from FT86Motorsports with the 4" muffler. Very happy, takes maybe 5 minutes to pop off the the stock axleback and switch to this one while I'm doing my wheel swapping.

most exhausts come with their own gaskets.
the donut gasket on the front pipe can be reused

for basic 2, 3 and 4 bolt gaskets, your local auto parts store should have something that fits. mine has a bin just full of different sizes exhaust gaskets that they let me go through and measure up.

for the donut gasket, the dealer should stock them. Dealers usually have all that type of stuff on hand
