Be great if you could provide a video much like the first post in this thread, cold start, outside drive always, flybys and finally in cabin cruise and acceleration..

(It would be great if everyone followed that format when they upload exhaust videos, hint, hint)

Yes, I understand the concept, guess we are saying the same thing differently. Size of primaries in the header, collector and piping to the primary cat (and maybe even the over pipe) I can see making a difference, but after both cats, I'd be REALLY SURPISED if there was a power loss in a 3" vs a 2.5" catback system..

At 3000 feet above sea level, the air is quite a bit thinner, that also plays a part in this. How big of a difference that makes on exhaust sizes, unclear, probably not alot but I don't claim to be an expert on this stuff.

This is pretty tempting. Should be acceptable even if I add JDL catted UEL headers.

Well that sucks ass. I guess this will force me to go custom because I sure as hell am not paying $1000 for a catback.

FWIW, it looks like the longer JDM OE tips are the same part as the first gen:

Thanks, but this begs the question (sorry if it has already been answered somewhere else), why the sunken in tips in the US market? It obviously isn't functional in any way, or they wouldn't have the longer tips in the JDM market. Is their some stupid DOT regulation that leads to his?

*EDIT* - Wonder if it is some crash regulation these days..

Agreed. And from what I've seen, the JDM tips on US cars still don't come out as far. So the US muffler pipes might be shorter.
