This build is inspiring and convincing the ecm to run port injectors in place of direct is impressive.

Considering your other thread about pulse widths, it got me thinking, did you ever look at using a direct injected K and the compatibility of direct injectors across brands?

Even though the K24 is tall, K-swap pics always makes me think that a Toyota-Honda collaboration would have been maybe better than the Toyota-Subaru. As a Porsche enthusiast, the idea of the boxer engine is appealing, but the K series is a beast. Although the K24 has the torque/displacement advantage, I would have liked to see a K20C from the Type R or a NA version. D4S on a K...unstoppable? If I ever was going to do a swap then a K would be it.

What compression are you running and boost?

You have balls. Good thing K24s are cheap. What clutch are you running on the CD009?

Holy crap. Crazy. I would love to see a Shelby GT500 be like WTF just happened when you destroyed.

I thought stock was good for 450-600whp (relatively low torque helping thing), which is good enough relatively speaking, but those numbers are bonkers.

Can’t remember, is yours a bone stock shortblock or did you do pistons, rods, bearings n arp studs, or whatever combination?

You ever weigh it?

Keep up the good work. I love it when this thread is updated.

Dam, that is impressive. If you can put that power to the ground then you will destroy all without any extra overnight parts from Japan. Sleepers are the best.

Honest opinion on balance, roll and handling? I can feel the extra weight and roll from adding my supercharger. I’m curious how this compares to stock.

I must have missed this... You have Camaro brakes? Did you swap hubs?

I didn’t know if “you ruined your car” in terms of handling. I figured the big brakes were for repeated stops and starts on a track, or at minimum, canyons, which is why I asked how was handling changed, but maybe you need brake upgrades for repeated slayings at the strip and high trap speeds.

Anything bigger than what can initiate ABS or lose tire traction is extra and heat management. For the most part, tires stop cars, but I understand bling. It is half the reason I did mine. I can’t stand small rotors behind big rims. Makes me feel like the car looks like this:

Pretty much everything is easier, probably. The only think that is easier for me on the FA20 was like changing the oil filter.

Yeah, especially on your setup. Not so much on a transverse setup in a TSX or CRV. At least, not as easy as the Subaru motors. Literally no drip process, empties filter, no oil running down the side of the block. The top mount filter on my wife's 3.0T TFSI engine in her Audi Q5 is also nice, but not as nice as Subaru's top-front mount.

It would be nice to service or check the spark plugs easier.

Hi, impressive work sir, I tried to contact you through YT but no luck because you said you don't use social media like IG but I have time now after rebuilding my FA20, my goal is to K swap no matter what. I have ordered the clutch to make the adapter plate to work with the S2000 trans, I have couple of question if you can help me, the oil pan does it hold 4 liters after modifying it? Will this method work for stock K24 oil pump because I want unopened engine to have ease of replacing when I blow it up. Now I'm most interested in knowing how did you retain abs with IS350 hubs and axles?

I also used the camaro calipers.
Did you use STI front hubs? Care to elaborate? I've been waiting on my front conversion hubs from PBM but they have been on back order for the last few months.
