Thanks for the reply Anaxilus. I got most of my information directly from a scion fr-s pamphlet and it actually says "Suspension: Macpherson Strut/Double wishbone." You are right about the headroom.

Yeah, no worries. There was debate about whether the English translation caused the confusion or it was a marketing exercise by Toyota, so certainly not your fault. Thanks the vid!

Interesting this one. I had understood the creases were there for roof rigidity due to the sheet metal being quite thin. Internally of course they didn't have to follow that line and the fact they did helps with a helmet as you have mentioned.

You have a lot more headroom if you lower the front seat. I'm 6'3 and fit in with a helmet no problem. You can see in the video it's raised up quite a bit.
Spend a minute or two longer getting setup before you start recording.

Do your home work before posting "cheap carbon fiber looking dash" dude look at the pattern on it as it's repeated all around the FR-S.

Oh it's here also......

The seat thing was a mistake. Apologies. The trim in the middle of the drivers and passenger seat (of the car I drove) is in my opinion definitely a carbon fiber knock off. I was referring to the part of the dash that didn't include the tac/speedo.

Like this one:

Thanks for the feedback guys. Even if it's negative it will help me in the long run. Just please refrain from "disliking" the video on youtube. I'd rather you tell me what you disliked on here.

Manual version of the car may do 0-60 in 6.2, but the AT version is closer to 7.2. The "carbon fiber knockoff" is really a "T" pattern showing the cars' heritage. This can be seen in other places like the front grill.

You learn by purchasing the car and being a owner or by joining a forum and reading the members/owners post.
Taking a car out for a test drive and saying this or that is good or bad is a poor way to review any car just my two cents.

The point of my reviews is to point those who haven't had the opportunity to drive a particular car in the right direction. Obviously it's not super detailed, but It does touch on some important aspects of the car. If you have to own the car to make a good review, I guess top gear and motor trend don't make that cut.I do appreciate everyone's feedback. It'll only go uphill from here.

Lol wut?

How is our interior *not* fake carbon fiber? Just face it, its tacky and looks bad.

Haven't watched the review but I'll give my comments after I watch it later today.

@TRD-X makes a good point about your review.
When you drive it daily, you begin to see and appreciate the intangibles of the car that you don't notice on a test drive. You get to experience the car in all kinds of dynamic driving situations that you might not get to do on you quick test drive. It's easy to point out the features and details of the car and initial feel.. That's why those long term tests are so valuable.. I bought a few cars that were fine and impressive on the test drive.. But we're gone in 6 months because I didn't notice something on the test drive..

It's an awesome car that you come to appreciate more as you drive it, like MikeM53 said. I feel sorry for those who feel the need to re-badge or bolt all sorts of ugly-ass shit to it. If you don't like the FR-S/BRZ, you really need to just buy a better car.
