Im waiting in the bypass valve from torqamp. Their production came to a stall from the covid-19 but I've been in contact with them and gave me an ETA of 2weeks from now. I have a tuner who is aware of the setup and what I plan to do. I bought some random intake piping, elbowsvand rubber inlets to figure out how to fit it all in. I've tested both chargers to make sure they both work fine.

If the numbers on the VDyno are anywhere close the real deal. I think it's safe to assume. That with roughly ~7psi. I could be looking at 250whp and 225wtq. If we consider the baseline of the car to be 175whp/150tq then I gained roughly 50hp and 50tq. Keeping in mind I'm on the original ESC tune. So if with the second turbskie I gain even half that amount, another 25hp/25tq then I think it's achievable. Sent from my GM1915 using Tapatalk |

My guess probably make 220ft lbs peak between 3500-4000rpm w/ 7.5psi, but then fall off to about 170ft lbs at 7300rpm and make 235whp peak at 7300rpm w/ 3.5psi. Full bolt ons E85 ESC on a high reading 175whp baseline dyno, i see they made 205ft lbs / 220whp. But keep in mind half those gains where from full bolt ons. Regardless 235whp peak is still solid on a 2750lbs car, but 220ft lbs between 3500-4000rpm will be crazy. You should be able to pull away from that WRX a little then maintain that lead for a while. Are you sure you aren’t 245/35r18 that tire is more common / barely bigger then oem. About 24.8 vs 24.6, 245/40r18 is pretty big at about 25.8, typically only have that much meat on a radial or slick. |

All right! The train is a moving. I can expect it's gonna take at least a two weeks to arrive since they're located in New Zealand. But this was really the last part I needed to begin putting together everything. In the meantime I can start routing all the wiring and mounting the second phantom in place. after speaking with jelke the designer of the torqamp I opted for installing an intercooler. His input was that while the two superchargers won't generate enough heat to become a risk the cooler denser air could definitely be a benefit. In producing slightly better results. That and the fact that where I live in summer temperatures reach as high as 110°F so If you live in a cold environment. The intercooler would be something you could opt out. Hope the guy building the torqamp kit is getting his soon.

Rob, Did you ever manage to get the lithium cells working? Assuming in these pictures it's just a mockup to check for physical space etc.? Cheers, Josh |

I have to say guys adding a second phantom is not plug and play lol. But I knew this coming into it. If you're not good with tools and don't have the patience to really think through things this is a project I don't really recommend. I'm having fun figuring out how I'm gonna pull this off. So far I've had to splice and rewire most of the wires in order to get the control box and second phantom to sit in the opposite side of the original location. I've had to fabricate my own brackets for the intercooler and fabricate some of the piping. While I have a very good idea on how I'm going to run the piping I'm finding myself having to buy extra couplers just to get it to work. Oh and I had to remove my windshield wiper fluid container so yea but I got a fix for that I'll just carry a Windex bottle in the trunk. Anyways thought I'd update you guys.

Interested for sure, are you planning on compounding the units or making a Y adapter? I've been on the fence about upgrading to a SBD kit, but if the results are pretty good I'd be up for picking up a second used one.
I've was hoping Phantom or Torque would put a bigger motor/turbo housing for more boost but nothing ever happened. I'm surprised that the Torque system isn't pushing double phantom boost numbers since they are using 48v instead of 24v. Anyways keep us posted and take pics. |

Check out chase bays windshield washer reservoir, that’s what I’m using. Easy to mount up wherever, easy to splice the wires into oem wires for the pump. Pretty much plug and play. About the size of a 16oz energy drink. |
