Issues/Problems for early adopters

Hey all.

I'm ~ 770 miles into my 2022 BRZ, and I've had some issues crop up. Wondering how things are going for everyone else. Below are the items i've noticed so far... anyone else have data points to share? Going to collect a list before I go to the dealer and call Subaru corp.

Anyone else noticed this, or is it another thing I point to my dealer.

Issues thus far:
- Blinkers randomly speed up, and sometimes just don't work at all.
- Homelink mirror garage buttons dont work (no power)
- Squeaky seats while driving (cold weather)

First item is known and SOA is looking into it.

Homelink issue is also known. Bring it back to the dealer. It is a bad harness that is missing the power line to the homelink module. They'll swap it out.

Haven't heard the seat squeak, but I'll be on the lookout now.

~500 miles on mine. The only “issue” I have noticed is a resonance/rattle that sounds like loose catalytic converter heat shield when reving to/past ~4500 rpm to rev match. I’ll see how it develops.

+1 to the first two. Haven't noticed the seats squeaking but the shift boot definitely does when it's cold, which I think is just normal.

Apple CarPlay crashes and reboots apps pretty frequently on me, and I've noticed the "meter" settings for the dash reset to off randomly - eg, the rev warning and selected gear display.

Other than that no real issues that I wouldn't consider normal at just over 2800 miles.

There was at least one day where my right turn signal would flash quickly like it had a bad bulb, but then it started working after a few seconds. Now both sides flash quickly very briefly before working.

I also noticed that only one rear light will flash sometimes when I lock the car remotely, but I haven't done this from the front.

Is that confirmed yet? Haven’t heard of anyone getting it working yet, is there a TSB issued?

Im glad I am not the only one that has noticed squeaking in the car I cannot tell if its the steering wheel, seats, or the seatbelt receiver

My rev beep settings etc reset once on the third day. Never again, and no other issues. I do not have a homelink mirror.

Those of you having what feels like software problems (blinkers, shift light resetting), make sure you connect the car to WiFi and initiate a software update on the headunit.

I have noticed the blinker speed increase + occasional buzzing after 4500 RPM. Currently at 2,000 miles

Yep, the first few days of December. It will do the update in the background even with the car off if you have auto updates on.
