I'm curious, how much is the coupon code good for?
I actually just purchased my diode dynamics a few days ago (were supposed to be here yesterday) but USPS seems to be delayed with winter issues. lol. Thanks for the video. Needless to say, I'm very happy with my Diode Dynamics choice. They make a great kit for the price. |

Any pics of the yellow Spyder's in action? And/or the yellow Lamin-X?
I've used Lamin-X before on my Audi, and it was decent, but wondering about the difference in color and beam with the cover vs. a true yellow housing. Also, how the yellow looks with HID/LED beams in headlights and front markers. Really like that Diode is glass housings and OEM bezels, and I'd likely just tap into the marker lights rather than a switch, so it may be the better option if I can get the color right. |

I ordered the spyder yellow kit the other day. I'll take pics of the install and how it looks when done. I'm still nervous about the plastic lenses though. I figure if I don't like it I can switch out housings and leave the wiring with switch in place. I've seen a few glass lens housings for sale by themselves so no biggy if they don't work out.

just had a thought--do you see any markings on the fog switch and plate to be able to tell if it is a toyobaru part or aftermarket?
i'm very interested in getting some, so if there's any part numbers you can find on them to help me find where i can order them, it would be greatly appreciated.

While the switch could be a factory part, I highly doubt it is because the factory gt86 switch is on the stalk. The space next to the trunk button is normally used for the led indicator for the alarm upgrade.

Good break down, just bought the Diode Kit since I'm a little more skeptical of plastic fog light covers.

Your skepticism is well deserved. Got the Spyder kit in yesterday and upon initial inspection, the housings appear to be super cheap trash. I'm currently debating on what to do. I'm not sure if I should even waste my time installing them. I'll take some detailed pictures when I get off work.

Okay so I took some pictures of the housing. They seem to be covered in some kind of glue or epoxy or something.
