Tranny, dif and tune up

Well tranny fluid didn't make much difference. Just a tid bit.
What did make a difference.. Tune up. It runs so smooth and so good
It cost a fortune to get a tune up...Ya have to lift the engine? WTAF

Oh well its all done, won't have to get done again

They probably sold old @RichardsFRS ...... a set of plugs, a set of points, a condenser, a new coil, spark plug wires and adjusted the valves and set the timing and dwell .......

(just checking to see if RichardsFRS has a sense of humor today ....)

Reminds me of one time, back-in-the-day, I was setting the timing on my 1970 MGB.

The timing mark was conveniently () located on the bottom part of the crankshaft pulley. So, one had to lay on their back under the car to take a reading ..... then jump out and turn the distributer.

Well, I got the timing set then took the car for a spirited drive. I heard a strange noise but ignored it till I got back to my garage. Looked underneath the car and there was the poor timing light, which had been dragging on the ground.

That's the reason I could never have nice tools ......

We must have offended Richard though since he never did come back and tell us what the tune up included.
