Can you help me?
I currently own a stock 2013 Subaru BRZ. My goal is make 550hp+ using a turbocharger. I am quite new to this type of stuff however I do have some background knowledge. If you could please help me by listing the needed parts and tools required to meet my goal, it would be very much appreciated. |

Basics: turbo kit, built engine, clutch/flywheel, fuel pump and lines, tune.
Extras: drive shaft, brakes, suspension, oil cooler, catch can or aos, trans depending on how it’s driven, wheels/tires Something more helpful than all of that though, you can search and find this info all over the site. I feel like this topic has been talked about at least a million and a half times. There is tons of great info if you search, and you’ll probably find an answer to all of your questions. All in though you’re looking at a 20k+ budget easy imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

A spare engine is something I'd have laying around if I planned to hit those number. Good luck!

Big turbo. Built transmission. Driveshaft Axles Tires (to put the power down). 550+hp, realistically, will take 15k+ |

^ These guys know what they are talking about. How did you arrive at "550hp" as your goal? Will you be racing your car?

being "new at this" and wanting 3 times the stock HP with FI don't seem like a good mix unless OP has a bunch of money laying around to pay someone else to do it in which case why didn't he just call a local shop?

100% agree with the rest of the list. Add a clutch.

Im around that power and I’ve spent around 10k but I did build my engine myself and did all the work myself except the boring/machining process.
Turbo kit Fuel system/e85 Built engine Good clutch/clutch fork Catch can Prayers that your trans doesn’t pop The axles/shafts/tires are up to you if you wanna put the power down or enjoy breaking/spinning tires Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
