My 86 Model 2017

My vehicle came shipped with the display unit TAS300.

Do you know how to change the wallpaper?
The idea is to use a picture instead of the uninspiring brown background.
There is an option on the Setup, however it doesn't seem to work.
The PDF manual I got doesn't seem to refer to the same unit.

Best regards

TAS300 .. Touch & Go 1st gen? Wallpaper cannot be changed on just headunit. But i've seen posts that it might be changeable if one installs it's navigation bit "& Go", as there is different firmware running then. I have it though, and didn't succeeded. Maybe there is needed more expensive Go+?

Thank you churchx
I suspected so, this unit is very basic.
To upgrade I believe there are better options than those offered by Toyota.
I saw some interesting Android kits even in this forum.
I'm just worried that I'll void the warranty if I choose to do so.

BTW, toyota's own & Go navi system imho is hard to use, has rare & expensive map updates, and Very Expensive (even more so Go+ bit). And also i liked more mp3 playback UI when i hadn't yet installed Go i bought (now folders cannot be selected, only by ID tags). So i wouldn't get it. Most smartphone commercial or free navi apps are WAY better & cheaper then that, just get good mount with charging for easy to reach/see place.
I'd say use stock TAS300 Touch as is .. and if you want better headunit with navi .. go aftermarket. More features/better UIs/better navi/better sound. & Go/& Go+ not worth buying, especially at prices it costs new.
