What is 5000km/miles anyways?

5000km
5000miles
3107miles
8047km

Seems like a strange way to state a distance on an official document. I guess relative to the life of the car the unit doesn’t really mater.

Whichever comes first on your car's odometer -

Now, lemmie alone, I'm in a lot of pain here -

Of course! We get it.

Thanks for sharing anything you feel is appropriate.

just a friendly bump, we don't want you to upload anything that would get you into trouble but I'm really curious to see that page where it talks about the valve spring breaking in 5k.

Sorry for the wait guys, it is an official document and it does say it confidential.
To be honest I should not have said anything about the 5k in the first place.

So I cant upload it, you can DM me if you got questions about this

I'm curious if the instructions are on TIS. If so then there's nothing keeping someone from spending $20 for a 2 day subscription to see them.

Probably not. They will just be a big TSB and those don't show up in TIS.

I did a 2 day sub of TIS back when I had a 2004 Sequoia. I only needed the service manual but I do remember seeing TSBs in there too. I am willing to burn $20 to get access to the valve spring TSB if someone can confirm it's on there. Anyone who works at a dealer has access to TIS. These people claiming to have access to the instructions most likely also have TIS access.

Yes it's on TIS. However, there's a difference between TSB and recall/campaign. Also, I don't see anything about the 5k km/miles that @Crydo mentioned.

You really want those instructions eh.

I'm not sure if you are confirming that TSBs are on TIS or if the recall instructions are on TIS. Sure a recall is a little different than a TSB but all I really want to know if the recall is on TIS. If it is then it's basically not confedetal because anyone can sign up for TIS.

Yes all TSBs and recalls are on TIS. Whether you have access to the recalls, particularly technical instructions, through subscription, that I don't know.
