When thoroughly inspecting a vehicle.
I'm confident, and knowledgeable enough to see the level of completion / attention to details.

Relating
to you, some things e.g, engine internals just can't be reasonably inspected, for the most part.

Perhaps...
Or naa.
Yup, subjective.

Forget the whole thread. You quoted ME, I had said that the swapped car PROBABLY has a better CG than a car with a typical HIGH MOUNT turbo kit.

You ran off at your keyboard about a completely different turbo setup as if I had said something else entirely. One might even think you didn't bother to read what you were replying to...

There has been a claim of a fix to the problem so I am looking into it and FA motors again and just selling the LS along with the RX7 I was selling. But I at this point have only sold the motor with issues to a local so he can build it (For those wanting to know I sold it for 350 as a complete motor).

The car is with my friend but he has not started yet as he has other projects in front of it (He does a lot of custom turbo builds) so this really is as I said the time to decide if I will or not. However I have no reason to believe the car will be worse off with an LS vs an FA. I was worried about the axles though... and the diff haven't seen a lot of information on the results of those seeing more trq and hp constantly. (Well the Axles I do believe have been shown to be questionable above 350)
Yeah I believe I read somewhere that the axles have been snapping at around 275~300 ft/lbs but don't quote me on that... I know there are some after market axles that supposedly hold up to 600 but I can't recall how much they were... But either way if you're hitting anywhere near 250+ I would consider and axle swap if just for peace of mind.

Honestly you could swap in a Geo Metro Motor and have a more reliable setup than a Rotary Engine. But then I am a little bias from my many fights with them.

What is the ETA on completion from WGP? Keep us updated on this. WGP is likely going to be my choice as well for parts..........

Just talked to them the other day. They got the engine and they are cleaning ut up and inspecting it prior to putting it in. I created about a 2-3 day delay because I decided that while the engine was out I wanted to replace the flywheel and clutch. They offered a z06 setup but I decided to go chromemolly 14lb and a MF clutch so the shippinh delayed my set up. I hope to have her back by labor day but will keep you all informed
