I like it. It's reminiscent of the Ferrari Enzo's nose, but with modern JDM styling and accommodations made for a front-engine design.

Why do I envision a lot of Batmobile tribute cars coming out of this if it ever hits the market?

I don't understand why the FT1 forums are blocked by my work internet, but this site isn't.

That front end gets uglier everytime I see it.

Only saving grace is, IF* the car makes production. (I haven't read any official statement on the title of the car or release date) that front end will not make it on the finished product.

So no suprise, that the ft-1 will not be an affordable vehicle. Estimates by Carbuzz says it will be north of 55 grand.

So c7 vette, m4, RC-F etc etc territory.

The only way in hell the Supra has a fighting chance at sales is to compete head on with corvette. ~$60k range. Either they develop a v6tt or shove a tweaked version of the RCF v8 in the bay. Keep weight around ~3200lbs too. I sure do hope it is priced well under the corvette so it can sweep the market on price.

I'd say the chance of this vehicle being less than 55K and around 3200 lbs is about the same as pigs growing wings. With regulations, inflation and modern day expectations this car will most likely be in C7 price range (or higher) and curb weight of 3500+ lbs. To get the weight down, they'd either have to shrink the car or use a healthy dose of exotic materiels (carbon fiber) that would only drive the price up. Just my opinion of course.
