Random Thoughts - Part Deux

Ended up not going. It’s a co-workers car so I’ll get a chance later. I could never justify it, one of the reasons I like the twins is they are easy to replace. Just curious how it benchmarks.

facepalm A bicycle pump costs much less than a set of tires or a new turbo.

I think my last set lasted somewhere around 18-20k but had a good mix of daily driving and hard driving so it seemed a decent range. I don't have an issue pumping (lol)! I just haven't been driving nearly as often because I work from home now, so I'm needing to check tires and things less often than normal. I do have a gauge all the time in my glove compartment though, so usually I keep an eye on the current pressure with that.

The irony of SCCA drivers all having to wear masks for interviews, and then all the guys jumping in the winners car for a parade lap.
At least they don't have to wear a mask while racing (I'd hope).. |

If I had to buy tires even every 18 to 20K miles I would go broke (ok, not literally). That would be once every 10 months or so for me.

There's probably some calculation to do it but given the size I would just draw it to scale and measure it.
