Well, Michigan has officially joined the list. The funny part is that my company is trying to claim "Essential Business" status. They are a titanium recycling plant......

Good to know, thanks. I am on the fence about painting vs. wrapping.

Well, you could double distill the scotch and make hand sanitizer out of it, then when people smell liquor on you, you can say it's the homemade hand sanitizer -

Reminds me of the old story about the sales manager telling his salesmen to drink ONLY whisky, rather that vodka. When one of the salesmen asked why, the sales manager replied "because I want our customers to think you're drunk, not stupid"

Isn't titanium (must be read thee proper 'English" way) used as a catalyst? Therefore it could be a critical item... Catalyst for the anti-virus..

I realize we're all suddenly imprisoned in our homes, but I wish people wouldn't forget that (most of us) are also WFH and it's not very polite if you're yelling and messing around in the next unit over/below.

Move East, buy house, problem solved. Just not now. That would be bad.

Dang! That brings on another back-in-the-day story. Back in the mid 70s, in Newtown, CT, it was a nasty winter. We had just had a 2 foot snowfall/blizzard and the snow had drifted real bad. Then we had a ice storm on top of that, then the temperatures headed down to zero.

It was funny watching my boys ice skate on lawns all over the neighborhood. The governor shut down the state for several days as far as vehicle traffic (except emergency vehicles) on the streets and roads.

We were OK, till I ran out of cigarettes and whisky -

So, I fired up my dirt bike and took to the ditches heading for the country store, which was about a mile away. I knew they would be open because they lived up over the store.

I scored the essential items and rode/slid back home.

THE END
