HKS Hi-Power Spec-L Catback With Custom Tips

SOLD - HKS Spec L - $500

I bought the version with the burnt titanium tips new, then had a good local shop cut the tips at an angle and powdercoat them black. I thought it made the catback look a bit more classy and less in-your-face, something I liked.

It's a great system, very light, in decent shape (couple scratches, small dings) and comes with all hardware and gaskets needed. Used for less than 5,000 miles.

Let me know if you'd like me to ship it and we can probably work that out.

Will drive to meet anywhere reasonably near southwest Virginia

Noise is medium-quiet, definitely a step louder and deeper than stock. Was a little too deep for me at low RPM but really screamed excellently when pushed. Drone was not really an issue. I loved the sound, and would gladly keep it if I weren't so sensitive to a bit of extra bass at those low RPM. It is my daily driver, so I needed a step quieter. Most people will tell you it's not terribly louder than stock, but I had a fully catless system with a UEL header so I guess for my setup it was a bit much for a DD that wasn't designed to attract attention.

For comparison, it is about as loud as a Q300 and definitely quieter than something like an R400. It's not designed to be loud. For how light it is (half the weight of the stock catback), it really is remarkably refined.

Sound is hard to describe, and everything is relative and subjective. Here is a video that includes sound clips of my specific setup (catless UEL header, catless exhaust) if that helps. High revs at 2:30 and driveaway at 7:35

Shipping dimensions and cost

Hi everyone, got it in a box for shipping and have been looking at prices for those of you who are interested and don't live near southwest VA.

Weight of the box: 29.4 lb
43" x 18" x 9.5"

Shipping via Greyhound Bus Station is probably the cheapest way to ship this, and shipping to New York, for example, is about $70 give or take. If you PM me your zip code and nearest Greyhound station I can get an exact price. Otherwise, let me know what carrier you would want and I'll get a quote from them. I'd ask you to pay for shipping if you wanted it shipped to you.

I can also drive a little ways if you wanted to meet in person. I'll be all over VA beach area for July 4th, then on 64 passing by Richmond and Charlottesville on Sunday, then further west on 64 and down 81 to Roanoke by Monday evening. Thanks!
