Clean rear interior window

using google translate.

Hello

I have cleaned it many times sitting in the back seats and simply using a microfiber cloth with glass cleaner and the result is good, although not the best. The problem is that the brake light makes it difficult or impossible to clean certain areas. Some time ago I disassembled the upper part of the light and when I put it back on it had lost grip due to a torn/broken tab, I had to buy another original one and spent about €150. Now I want to clean the glass very clean again, but how can I make sure that the same thing does not happen to me again?

Any trick so that the tab doesn't break again?

Thanks

usually a screw and a washer can replace the plastic tabs.

i also replaced the 3rd brake light with this model. it both hides the grime at the top, and also makes it easier to clean the bottom of the window.

Thanks to all.

Replaced that third brake light with an Intec third brake light. Window is super easy to clean now. The OEM third brake light (besides being in the way of your rear vision) has plastic rivets holding it in place if I remember correctly so if you take it out, you need another solution to put it back in.

Thank you.

I have had that tool for more than 8 years, it was the first thing I used but in the end I realized that the result was not so good, so I decided to do it the usual way, sitting behind and looking up pressing against the glass.

I also tried another tool finer than the Stoner, but it left traces and in the end it looked ugly. They are good solutions but I have already tried them.

I don't want to change the brake light, it's more because of the problems involved in making this type of reform, because in Spain that modification could give me problems with inspections.

So much beautiful, but I don't want problems with ITV.

I decided not to remove the light, with a microfiber taking it from the sides and rubbing through the gap between the glass and the plastic of the light, I got good results.

The holes that remain below are already more difficult, but for now this does not matter to me.

Doesn't it happen to you that when it gets direct sunlight you see rubbing? No matter how hard I try with quality window cleaner and hairless glass microfiber, I can never get it perfect.
