Are you shooting raw and do you have Lightroom? If yes to both, use LR's new subject mask to easily separate the car from the rest of the photo and process it by itself. There's a ton of videos on LR's latest update and masking tool, it's soooo good. PM me a link to download one of those in RAW and I can take a stab at it to show you the potential! Those photos I posted looked like garbage straight outta the camera. It's amazing the detail you can pull out of a raw file.

Is this the same red that's offered on the GR86?

Also, has anyone tried fitting baby seats (forward facing) / booster seats in the back? Looking for photos of the rear seat space, or is it basically the same as the previous gen?

Yes, same red.

Back seat area is the same. I have a forward facing recaro harness booster in there, fits fine.

I have only driven the car twice (about 50 total miles) since purchasing it, so I will need to drive it a little more before doing a good comparison. Plus, I am planning on keeping the rpm's at 4000 or below during break-in (as per the Owner's Manual).

I'll mention a few things of comparison that are not related to performance:

-I have a 2017 Focus ST2, which gives you Recaro seats and a pretty nice 450 watt Sony stereo system. The seating in my Limited BRZ is pretty comparable to the Recaro seats, but I believe the BRZ seats look nicer with the leather and Ultrasuede. The BRZ sound system is horrible in comparison to the Focus ST2 sound system.

-The shift feel is comparable between the two cars, and I have the stock shifter in both cars. I do have a really nice heavy WC Lathewerks shift knob in my Focus and plan on getting one for the BRZ.

-Tires: With 215/40-18 tires on the stock wheels on the BRZ, they seem really narrow and one could easily curb a wheel due to no tire protection. The car really needs 225/40-18's on the stock wheels. I plan on buying a nice set of OZ or Enkei wheels for the BRZ with larger tires (225's or 235's).

I will follow up once I have more seat time in the BRZ.
I appreciate the insight. I test drove a 22 today and was surprised to agree about the shifter. The BRZ was a little shorter and a little tighter but I felt completely comfortable and at home with the BRZ in no time. I was rev matching downshifts before I saw my first stop light. Absolutely zero learning curve (though the clutch was a little light on feel). I loved it.

Great seats too. Extremely comfortable and the ultra suede was mega grippy.

Oh, and since this is a picture thread... here's the Sapphire one I drove.

With a terrible photo of the interior

I didn’t shell out money for Lightroom yet, but just importing (& processing) the RAW files into iPhoto instead of the jpgs made a HUGE difference! Why is jpg even an option?
