Circuit Motorsports was scouring the floor for new and interesting BRZ and FR-S parts at SEMA 2012. While there we got to talk with Chris, the Head engineer at ACT, he went over the new HD Street Clutch and flywheel kit for the 2013+ BRZ and FR-S!

ArggGGG, why did ACT have to do this?!... I love how the stock clutch pedal feels but want to upgrade to a really light flywheel (had the ACT Prolite in mind) for better acceleration. Guess ACT is out (though I do love the design of their Prolite flywheel - had one my RS Integra) since it appears you have to get their pressure plate and clutch disc to be able to use the Flywheel? Please tell I just heard something wrong and it will indeed work with the factory clutch and pressure plate...

I like the idea of a complete set. Any chance of a group buy here?

Right, they told us that the design of the OEM flywheel won't work with the upgraded clutch kit. So they are selling them together as a package.

ACT has extremely strict pricing on their kits, so we can't do a reduced price Group Buy per say, but we do offer free shipping and the lowest price we can to forum members

take it from someone who've been running ACT in his BRZ since July... its worth the money.

Thanks for the input Wu!

I wouldn't hesitate to run one of these kits in a FT86 with my positive experience with ACT in the past.
