FR-S to BRZ Ratio
Alright New Englanders here's a toughie. Now that both cars have been officially revealed, I'm curious as to which one you will ultimately go with.
For some of us, the final decision will come down to price. But from what I've seen in the latest photos, there doesn't appear to be anything too different between the two that would cause the price to differ much (feel free to fill me in on key differences). For others, it will be aesthetics or brand loyalty. As for me, I'll be going with the FR-S based on the fact that the front end is just more aesthetically pleasing. So with that said, I'd like to get a sense of how many FR-S' I will be seeing around (or at suture meets) versus the number of BRZ's. |

Based on the new pics of the FRS, the price tag better be hella cheap so I can fix the mess that was left in it. Otherwise the BRZ which was the car I was favoring before is probably going to end up being bought.
^ I agree about the FRS having a better bumper but I'm sure I can change the BRZ's out later if it starts to annoy me. IMO the overerall target market these brands are shooting at explains why the FRS looks more geared to younger customers and the BRZ a bit more grown up for older customers. If I change my mind then its because money talks and bullshit walks. |

Should be obvious for me, but I'll be driving around in an FR-S, LOL being a Scion Manager and all... Honestly I like the look of the FR-S better. Also there is a Weekly meet at Moe's Southwest Grill in Framingham, MA every Tuesday night at 8pm. All of the locals are more than welcome to join us.

There is a poll already on this and the Scion is winning by almost half.
I agree that the scion bumper looks better becauase it has less of that stupid smiley face but the subaru interior is better. I hope you can swap fron end so you get the best from both worlds. |

I have a Subaru already and right now I am leaning tword the BRZ, but would like to see both versions in person. I could still be swayed one way or the other.

BRZ. I hate that Toyota branded it a Scion, and I want all the extra options. 3 months ago before I had a loaded-up Audi I was whining that they should have a stripper model with no options; now I want one with all of them... go figure!

BRZ for me, either this year if I can afford it or next year if I can't. The FR-S is just a little too cheap looking for me with the chintsy red accents and chrome headlights. If they offered it with all black interior and the 86 headlights it would just come down to whichever was cheaper for me, but they don't so that makes my decision pretty easy.

I happen to be blessed with a large chunk of change from uncle sam after my deployment is done. But the BRZ will still be a tough sale for me. I have one pre-ordered as you know but alot of things can change and price CAN be a deal breaker for me. The FRS will be my plan b if not I'll be picking up a lightly used WRX or something. I know different class of car but prior to knowing for sure that I wanted a BRZ (and the chunk of change was coming) I was looking at WRX's.
