GT5 2.0 Update!...

So after almost a year after its initial release, Polyphony Digital just recently released a free downloadable update for GT5 and was to include "cockpit view" on standard vehicles along with the addition of 11 new Nascar cars (and even more stuff that im too lazy to write).

I just updated it and IMHO the interior view looks like crap!

Imagine you're in photoshop with an image of any road. Now, draw the outline of your car's interior using the pen tool and that's what it looks like. It's just a black silhouette of what is "close" to the actual cars' interior.

Like i said before, its been a year since the game's release and they couldn't take the time to at least put more attention to that detail! To me it just seems like they wanted to answer to those who complained about no interior view with a quick response of blandness. When it comes to gaming, i prefer the "feel of the game > looks" but to me this is a pointless/disappointing update.

But i will take this cheap update and get my sim on!

For more info on the update itself, go to:

That wouldn't make any sense to put detail into standard cars. Why give standard cars a view that is as crisp as premium cars and not just do the whole car, get what I'm saying. So, the less stellar interior view on standard cars is suitable...cause it's a standard car. When it becomes a premium car then it makes sense to have crisp premium interiors.

It's not like they took something "away" from the standard cars. I keep thinking how much more they going to keep adding to it to be honest....lol. Game is HUGE with content. Most on of any console SIM period.

i think the real point is that its stupid to care what the inside of a car looks like in a racing game. hopefully all the man hours over there are going toward gt6 because i really dont want to wate another decade to get back into the game again
