Black brz spoofed on central this morning. You pulled up right next to me. I was in a red FRS. About 7:10 or so

Saw a white FRS/BRZ decked out in Castrol livery with a huge rear spoiler. He was on Shaganappi Trail southbound turning left onto Country Hills.

Anyone on here?

Hey, question... has anyone ever put studs on a new set of tires that weren't originally studded?

I'm thinking of getting a new set of Michelin X-Ice from Costco, then paying a shop to stud them. Is it worth it?
How is the road noise with studs on?

Thanks

Michalin x ice are not studdable sorry bud.

unfortunatly unless a tire is manufactured to have studs added you cant just add studs to it. you would ruin the tires. if you want studded tires you have to get tires that come with studs on them. from personal experience living up north in BC go with the nokian hakapelita 7 or 8 studded from kal tire. when you are in studded tires those are lightyears ahead of the other studded tires.

+1 and even if the tires are studdable, they have to be new or else the studs will just fly out.

Interesting... cuz some friends told me I could stud tires, even if they weren't originally studded (ie. Michelin x-ice). I've never had, nor have driven, with studded tires before, so I'm totally new to this.
Thanks!

Yup lol or just dumb.

@ OP
You don't need studs. This is my third winter (and second set of snow tires LOL) you will be fine with some good quality tires.

and Heru Farukon when you upgrade your speakers and add a sub let me know, I want to come take a listen.
