I'd say most of us here are not the "stancewars" type. There was a lot of shit going on last weekend and this weekend is BigNW at PIR which is one of the largest subie events around.

There where multiple Cars and Coffee's last weekend. NW Speed Summit was last weekend. Washougal MX National was last weekend.

I'm very tied into the track scene. Car show and cruise scene? Not at all.

Which makes me think: where might one find out about all these local events? That is, without belonging to every FB group out there?

Most of it I hear about is word of mouth, or FB.

I guess CSCC is doing time trial events at PIR. There is another SCCA TT 8/20 at PIR. This will be the 4th in our region this year.

Yea I don’t really get into Facebook at all.
And I know about BigNW and PIR. BigNW is Sunday and Sunday is my day to relax and recharge for the big work week ahead so I don’t do much on Sundays.
I’d do the coffee meets and whatnot but would have to have some way to get the info. I could use Facebook a bit more if that was the only way. If you got groups, send the info my way.

I’m just getting back into this car game. Was for out while, moved to Hawaii for about 15 years and it was all about them big 3/4 ton Chevy trucks.

Track days are in my future, but I’m not ready just yet. Need to dial in my car and stock up on some extras (tires, breaks, and things like that). But it is in my future.

PIR drags don’t interest me. Dig and step on it is fun when your in the car but watching it, meh, it’s like baseball, fun to play, sleepy to watch.
Wouldn’t mind the PIR track events tho. But either I’m Looking at the wrong info or just not informed correctly because I rarely see anything on Saturday. Where can I find the track event info? Any links?

Easiest way, not everything is on there but there is quite a bit.

I have to spend more time in these regional boards for more car related info. I'm oblivious until I look for it. Would have liked to have gone to some subi events and some car shows this summer.

Did hit up Banks Speedway on a Saturday, that was cool. Drifting driving dirt in the face way up in the stands is a unique experience.
