If I ever have my FOB and my cell phone in the same pocket, the keyless start won't work (yellow blinking key). Same with the exterior trunk release. Changing the FOB battery sometimes helps. I've never seen the blinking green key though.

Through this, I did learn that you can hold the back of the FOB (brand logo) right against the starter button for 10~15 and you will see the green FOB light come on and the car will start regardless of any key issues (dead battery, clutch switch is bad, etc.) There is a small chip in the FOB for this reason because I guess they were smart enough to know people will let their battery die. So at least I know I'm less likely to get stuck now with that as a backup.

Also to the guy with the fender issue. You should see my vehicle closer. Its in poor shape. From other vehicles hitting it lightly to the hail damage on every panel, shes a 15 footer. Ive also got insane rock chips on both sides. Im afraid Ill need a respray, maybe not though need to see a paint correction guy. The fob issue must be a b though sorry to hear about that. You are certainly not alone in having a scuffed ride.

Dented, scuffed, pitted, scratched, and missing a little paint here and there. The only change is an aftermarket exhaust.

Yeah they looked....unfinished back then lol. i thinkt hey became "proper" sized in 2016 or so.

What i find a little wierd is that in someplace like Australia the tips kind of go all the way to the edge of the diffuser (or even sticks out a little bit) but in north america they're tucked in a bit.....dont really understand that

Maybe a regulation thing?

What I can tell you with the exhaust I have now (SpeedFactory V1 Resonated) I have burned my left leg many times getting my mountain bike in and out of the trunk.

What sucks is you don't feel it for a second or two, and once you pull away you have a "healthy" ring of black and red marking your leg for two weeks!

So yea, I could use shorter tips.

# 1592 here. I bought it new in early 2014 and have a little over 152,000 miles on the car now. It was my daily driver until last July when I bought a new Pilot to DD. Only problem I had was the throw out bearing going bad just over 100k miles (just outside of the extended warranty... what a waste of $$). It sits in the garage now except the few days I decide to drive it to work when the weather is nice.



I've done all the oil/filter changes, and I've had the local Subaru place do the 60k and 120k services.


On my 3rd set of tires. They seem to last for 60K per set.



Still on the original brake pads... I don't drive hard enough I guess.




Oh, and my EL dash didn't work for the first 2 years / 70K miles I had the car. One day it just decided to wake up and has worked fine since. Never had a problem with the emblems lighting up though.

Hey everyone, am new here. I recently got an FR-S and was planning to mod/repaint it, but just found out it's a series-10. Am I nuts for thinking for doing that?
