I got it hooked up, everything seems to be working EXCEPT, the radio audio is missing the low end. I had this issue when I upgraded to the 2016/2017 Non-Navi radio, but when i moved the pins it worked.

Does anyone know where the issue is for the missing low end/bass and what I need to move to fix it. I've been looking at wiring diagrams.

I don't believe the GPS antenna in the early models '13/'14 are compatible. Mine did not work. 1. Plugs are not the same, after swapping, it still did not work.

the thread ive been looking for!

If I dont want to retain the steering wheel pause button in the 17 can I just plug in a 18 Ts Radio with GPS antenna and call it a day?

Or is all this required to get the radio to work with GPS?

Thank you in advance.

You can but from what I remember some the steering wheel controls were incorrect. Not just losing the pause button.

bumping this, did anyone end up making an adapter harness for this? I was thinking this was similar to the Toyota swap to the Harman unit. I am going from 2016 BRZ to 2018 limited head unit and didn't find this thread till now.

Any adapter harness would be great.

I just got my 2020 BRZ nav unit to work in my 2015 BRZ. When I have the time, I'll upload all of my research and findings either to this thread or a new one so yall can build the same harness(es).
