Hello to my new family. I have been a proud owner of the ae86 since I got my permit to drive when I was 16, it has been many years since that day(11). And I have been around to see the original 86 grow from it's early "what the hell is an eight six?"<Honda guy, to the everyone and their momma knows what a hachi roku is era, the frs will be my first new car!!! And hear Me^ out when I say that mine will have to look retro oldskool to represent oldskool Jdm, I think most ae86 owners that will buy this car will give if a little taste of it's roots in their own personal way of looks and performance. Long live the
eight six!!!!!! -max Last edited by Toreno; 12-02-2011 at 04:45 AM. Reason: Spell check |

Hi everyone,
I've been a Toyota owner since 2001, first car being an AE86 hatch which I still have now. I've owned 7 AE86's so far and a twin turbo Soarer amongst other cars. I have been excited about the prospect of this car since Moto on Club4AG posted that Toyota had approached him to get an idea of what the community wants to see in a small sports car with the spirit of the AE86. I've always been a fan of lightweight rev happy cars, one being my 2000 Celica GTS that I still own. It's great to see so many people behind this car and what it has the ability to do to change the the industry and hopefully get more companies bringing out more cars like this. Can't wait to get one as soon as the opportunity arises. |

Hey guys. Long time lurker (last 13 months...) but now have some actual stuff to say. Thanks to everyone who has kept my girlfriend annoyed with my incessant forum watching these past 13 months!

Checking in. Really got excited about this car when people posted some size comparisons that suggested this thing is not another Genesis coupe, but more of a a Miata/S2k with a roof. That's what I want.
Hopefully my local dealer is taking deposits, and doesn't have too many in front of me. That's my next step. |

Hi all,
Name's Mike from Miami, FL. I owned a 1993 Toyota MR2 turbo (Kyn3sys is my forum name on MR2.com) and was forced to sell it due to financial reasons. When I got back up on my feet again financially, I was able to buy another MR2 but instead I bought a Nissan Skyline for a great deal. Now, I have been debating whether to sell my beloved car or not for the FR-S...I have been waiting so long for production but it would be hard to let go of my car for this....I have been following the news about the FR-S release and honestly, the more pictures I see the more I lean towards buying the FR-S! Here's a couple shots of my previous MR2: Now I currently drive this: Thanks all! |

Hi all! My previous car was a Subie. And that brought me to the "Toyobaru concept car" .. So, after 2 looong years of waiting, dreaming and hoping, reading the first drive reviews got me so excited-it's Crazy!
Lucky me, my gf (BIG LOVE) drives a MX5, so no problemo to step up to BRZ/GT86 as the first family car |

Sup, im Erik from California. I drive a 94 Geo Prizm. It's basically a corolla clone sold under the GM name. I love that car, that little 1.8l engine sure is fun to drive around. I'm a 20 year old college student, i've been into cars for about 10+years its my obsession. Recently started to ride a motorcycle.
Cant wait for the Frs to hit the showroom floors |

We did this to the Nissan 350Z and we want to do something very similar to the GT86 |

Great! I love NA cars and, even though more power would be great, I won't go the forced induction route. Probably a free flowing exhaust, air intake and a computer retune are going to be enough for me!

Hi guys!
Am Mohamed, 24 from Bahrain (F1 Circuit anyone? :p )a Comp. Eng. I drive a '11 Genesis Coupe 3.8 Track and i totally love that car! Am crazy about going sideways (note i didn't say "drifting" still learning :p), riding on my 3rd set of tires now; just switched to Nitto NT-05's and totally love them! (From stock RE50A's). Aside of tires i only have swapped the brake pads for Hawk HPS's and waiting for Eibach Proline's to be delivered. Am really looking forward to get the now called "GT86"; been seriously looking around for a S14 Silvia as a track car; but maaaan that can wait for now ^_^! |
