Nice one @Anthony!
I too am interested in either the lfx21 or lfx24....cheaper and also lighter than the 36. They have sufficient cca. The lfx36 is a bit overkill and costs almost a hundred more and also 1-2lbs heavier. Idk why everyone is using it or including it in their kits. I know more cca might help in battery longevity and less strain...but still...it's +$100 and +1-2lbs more! 21, 24...heck, even the 27..are the better choices imo. |

Just fine. No problems to date. Have never charged it and have gone over 3 weeks without cranking it before. Zip ties are still holding strong.

10.8 F this morning @ 0720. Probably the coldest it will be this year here locally in Southern Maryland. Started up just fine. This is with the LFX36L3-BS12, which is the largest one Shorai has (about half a pound heavier than the one @Anthony runs). Cranked four times, starting on the fourth. This was also the coldest it's been started at by just about 50% (previous coldest start was 21 F back in November when we went to see Interstellar @ Smithsonian by IAD).

What's the warranty of the bat? I find that car batteries usually die around 1/4- 1/2 year after their warranty expiration. And to an extreme accuracy and consistency. My parents car batteries have all dies at the 3 month mark past the expiration.
