As fucked up as it is to say... at least there are american performance cars available now.
TBH both Toyota AND Subaru currently shitshow.

I do agree, recent American performance cars have step up their game. If they can shave more weight, I think it's golden.

Yeah... Nissan is in bigger shitshow than Toyo or Subie. It's been like that for... 3~4yrs now right? Until it gets resolved, Nissan gonna keep going down.

I know Nissan isn’t really a “steady” automotive company. Not sure how many times they “almost” went bankrupt. But in certain year in between on rollercoaster, they’ve made some amazing cars.

I have my own personal gripe with Nissan as I've said on here before and again just recently.

I've refused to keep up with them at all since then.

Haha MID4 came in the wrong time. Nissan had to figure out which monster car to bring it out, MID4 II or R32... of course, all the higher up will say R32. No heritage expensive sports car not sure ppl will buy or long heritage expensive sports car they know it’ll sell.

Personally, I think a new MID4 with the VR38DETT engine would be absolutely amazing.

Perhaps that's what Nissan should make as the new GT-R to compete with the upcoming C8.

From my perspective they've sucked ass since the mid 90s. The frs wouldnt exist without Subaru. They still seem incapable of producing their own sports car.

But they can sure make some good selling appliances.

Ford, GM, and Chrysler don't make anything remotely close to the twins. What is small, lightweight, and RWD from them? I've long waited for them try the market out, maybe by bringing back the Falcon / Maverick, Chevy II / Nova, and (proper this time) Dart nameplates. If it hasn't happened by now though, it will probably never happen.

Camaro I4 1le isnt all that much heavier. And if I were buying new in that price range I wouldnt hesitate to consider one.

But I was not speaking specifically about competitors to the twins, more in general.
