I swapped over an abs control module from a 2017 86. The updated traction control settings make it feel more playful. It's a bit more fun to drive. Thanks @for the write up on the swap.

Silviacrazed's FR-S adventure

Installed a Grimmspeed strut tower bar and a @ third brake light. I picked them both up from @. They both were in perfect shape and look great in the car.

This bothers me so much too! Why is every bit of stitching in the cabin red except for the e-brake handle? Especially considering they literally have the same part with red stitching in their parts bin. How much more could they really be saving by using black thread instead of red on this one piece?

Do you have a part number? How difficult was the install?

The part number for the boot is subaru part# 92123CA310. I just found it for $62 on a fast search. I think I paid about that. There is a red stitched ebrake handle as well, but I didn't like it as much. The boot drove me crazy though. The install is super simple. The boot just pulls up. I believe you have to take the ebrake handle off as well. I think I found instructions on the forum.

I hope you don't mind one more question. I have a 2016 FR-S as well and I am planning to upgrade the ABS module soon. Was the install as simple as detaching the old one and plugging in the new one?

Those Morimoto headlights look great, btw.

It's brain dead simple. The write-up on the forum makes it damn near idiot proof. Takes less than an hour. Literally unplug the battery, disconnect the connector, undo the four bolts, swap the new plastic housing in and put it back together. Super simple and I've enjoyed the updated settings.

And thanks! I love the way the morimoto's look. Definitely changes the whole look of the car, especially on black.
