I'm getting really close to pulling the trigger on an Open Flash Tablet. They are $500 new / $400 used. I guess they add 8-10hp and help lesson the torque dip. You can do E85 and make a lot more on top of that.. then add a header and intake and exhaust and continue to improve.

I have one. I flashed the stage 2 91/93 tune after I did my exhaust, and I don't really feel much of a difference. I can tell that the torque dip was lessened, but I don't think there's a night and day difference.

Well that's disappointing to hear that you didn't feel a great improvement.

The worst thing that you can really do is buy one and not like it. I think my expectations were probably just built up to high. They hold their value for resale so really at most you'll be out $100 or so if you were to buy it new. If you do buy it new, they ship the package as signature required so it can be a pain if you're not there to sign for it.

So has anyone ever heard of the pedal dance for our cars? Basically removed all drivers aid.

Today, cause of the rain, I went bonkers behind Home Depot to do some sideways action. I turned off the Trac control (holding 3sec) when I was side ways i can feel the brakes on the front and the ABS pulsing a bit causing a harsher transitions between switch direction.

Has anyone ever tried it?

I didn't think it was true, but I watched this video months ago and he says you have to pull the ABS fuse to have no pulsing.

If a course has lots of fast transitions I absolutely use pedal dance for autox or the abs goes wild with the typical 3 sec method.

I have drifted m car a few times at Auto City and I recommend pulling the ABS Fuse. If you don't the ABC will still kick in every time you get a little to crazy with the car.

So after our nice downpour earlier today, I have come to find out I have a small leak in my trunk...:/. I'll have to try and find the source of this leak, I know it's coming from the driver side of the trunk.

Anyone else have a similar issue?

I saw the sequence and its way complicated and still dont know what it does.

The pedal dance is great for. Drifting but it sucks for autocross and track days. The dealership also informed me the car logs how many times you have done that and asked me why I was doing it.

I completely disagree it sucks for autocross. For slalom and transitionally intensive courses, I find it absolutely necessary.

In az we had one day where we all tried it on and off and all 3 of us slowed down when we did the pedal dance. I guess it really depends on the course and your driving style. What it does do to the breaks is take away equal breaking. This will allow for tail breaking and more rotation in the corners without spinning the car. Again that is driving style when I autocross I always wanted 0 rotation and I wanted the car planted the same as when I track the car. Others do not agree and say it is faster to let the car rotate. At waterford hills you will hear this argument every time you go there. Some say the rotation is faster and allows you to carry more speed others say it is slower and you need to point and shoot.
