Looks like they didn't lower the froint fenders/ hood at all. They just dipped the sheetmeal before the A-pillar to meet with the existing beltline... That's meh. Here's hoping whatever money they did spend ($1) all went into the right places.

I’m definitely liking what I’m seeing so far! This yr has been very discouraging to me as I’ve had 2 Hakone editions get away from me (both times dealer sold AFTER running my credit and I was on my way to the dealers both times).

I have a DD I’ve simply always wanted a BRZ/86 after riding in friends cars, such a blast to drive on the mountain roads here in California. (Sold my 2012 SS LS3 6 spd Camaro weekend car to buy a BRZ/86 this yr).

Now after seeing more of the new car, I’m honestly glad it didn’t work out, I’m excited for the new BRZ/86 and will definitely be one of the first orders, already have over $25k saved so by the time the car launches I’ll probably be able to buy it outright

Unlike some, I’m still hoping for a NA motor, and a clean design. Looks good from what I can see thus far!

Should be an exciting next couple of months as more details roll in.

Bring on the new twins!!!

Pricing probably won't change too much. Some leaks have it at being around $1K more to start, but that might include more standard features, a nicer interior, and so on.

An NA motor is all but guaranteed at this point. Neither the front brakes or tires suggest any big power is on tap here. 215-220 at the crank, at best.

Also, kudos for 50% real vent/ fake vent ratio.

There may be a special 斗aunch edition color, who knows...one can hope

I definitely don稚 expect Hakone green to be a color unfortunately....man that color is beautiful!

Hopefully a bright white replaces the pearl white as well, it will be interesting to see the colors available at launch between the 2 models.

As the years go on the 都pecial colors are inevitable and will be exciting to see what they come up with.

Great points, about what I expect as well ( a 2-4K price difference) and a slight bump in HP but more TQ increase.

I think your assessment will come to be pretty acurrate, I expect details to start coming more consistently the upcoming weeks

Only because these have the vent insert painted flat black while they were completed covered with camo on the mule..

I'm pretty sure they just brought the beltline up some to match the hood. The headlights look to be mounted higher, giving the profile a more boxy appearance, as opposed to the more wedge-shape first gen.
