At least Chevy has a bracket holding the alternator up instead of the Dodge where it is magically hovering in space held only by the belt!

The battery looks really exposed out there next to a radiator, if radiator leaks don't get it I'm sure fluids from the big bad world will...

Yes, yes it did. On a fairly regular basis.

Okay, in the past month, I think I spent close to $300 on orders. Pretty sure the order I just placed today will be my last order for this hobby.

Sorry, what's your hobby? Spending money?

that's it?!? $300 for a hobby translates to just skipping a few mediocre takeout dinners!

hobbies aren't serious until you have a dedicated space for them, and parts start to consume much of your spare thought process and free time!

i can't think of a single hobby that i've had in the past 20 years that didn't have an estimated comma in the total i've spent!

LOL. Yeah, I know it isn't much, but all in all, I'm sure I'm over $1k. I didn't think I'd get more than the 4 Skylines I originally got. I will admit it is far cheaper than RC cars, which I thought about getting back into before going with just models. The $300 only included two models (with one only being $18). Rest of that went towards parts and paint.

It does take up a lot of my free time since I find myself watching YouTube videos on people reviewing things or just them building their kits. Same goes for Instagram. Nice seeing the skills people have (makes me wish I had their skills and equipment, lol).

I would like dedicated rooms for models, but don't have that. I'd make one room for displaying them, and another room just for working in.

Couldn't get rid of the seam, so I went back to the moonroof option. I was able to cut the "glass" part without cracking them. A little towards the front protrudes out, but that's the farthest I can go since that's where the overhead controls are. I wouldn't mind cutting into it, but it has curves, and I really don't want to chance having a crack for into the windshield. The actual moonroof piece should cover it anyway. The cutout isn't perfect, but it's decent enough.

Now I need to start chopping it up to fold the wings and tail.
Since I can get accurate dimensions now I can start planning out the hanger and deck for the dio.
I will be doing the whole section highlighted below but with the front side open to see the rear of the aircraft. More or less like the drawing in the instructions.

Will you be documenting the process? I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to see the build up!
