Wheel Directory: Quantum 44 S1 18x8.0 +37 / 18x9.0 +40

Price Update:

$1,200 for 18 inch sizes

$1350 for 19 inch sizes

(Shipping and import taxes not included)

[ame="http://vimeo.com/82397772"]http://vimeo.com/82397772[/ame]

Quantum44 are a new wheel manufacturer based in Northern Ireland. They have some pretty awesome wheel designs too!
I have been speaking with the guys and they would be keen to release a version of their S1 wheel in 5x100 fitment if there was enough interest.

The S1 has been pretty popular with BMW and VW circles so far and I think they look awesome on M3's!

After speaking with the guys in Quantum44, they would like to release something for the BRZ/Frs market. Currently sizes range from:

18X8
18X9 Deeper Concave
19x8.5
19x9.5 Deeper Concave
20X8.5
20X10 Deeper Concave

Two finishes are available:
Matt gunmetal
Solver / Polished lip

And this is what a staggered setup (18x8 front, 18x9 rear) could look like on our cars:

If you guys want, I can ask them for similar images so you can get an idea of what they look like.

What do you guys think?? As I said, these are not available yet in FRS/BRZ fitment but I will be organising a group buy for the first sets if any of you are interested?

Please add any additional questions here and I will get back to the guys to try and get more info for you

They need a minimum of 10 paid deposits to get 5x100 production running so PM if interested!

Ciaran

These things are gorgeous. I don't think I'd do bigger than the 18x8 as I will only be getting TRD springs for my daily driver... Unless the 18x9 will fit square with no suspension mods (other than the TRD springs).

The offsets would be ET40 as standard however if we can get 10 people in for the group buy, then we can specify any offset we like!

Since these are not yet manufactured for the GT86, Quantum44 want to know the optimum offsets for the car in the various sizes. Which means we could potentially order a square setup in 18x9 in an offset tailored for the car which should have no fitment issues.

I will have technical details on Monday so we will know wheel weights then, but my guess is you're in the ballpark, 22-24lbs

If we got 10 people looking to get these wheels (9 including me!) then we would be the first to have sets for a toyobaru.

We could go for one of 3 options:
18x8J (Offset around ET37 but can be changed)
18x9J (Offset around ET40 but can be changed)
18x8J 18x9J Staggered (Offsets around ET37 / ET40 but can be changed)

Of course they will do 19 and 20 inch too if there are enough of people interested

But basically we need a minimum of 10 people wanting the same size and finish before they will start a production run for the GT86/BRZ.

Update: Prices will be starting from about $350 per wheel (18x8) which is very reasonable considering what they are!
Again, these are ballpark figures. The exact price would be determined on the exact size and finish of wheels we go for.

But daaaaaayum I think I'm in love with this combo
