Agreed. I had to chuckle to myself though when the first video starts off with a close up of the radio everyone loves to hate!

I actually have been holding onto my Kenwood Excelon MP3 deck and Subwoofer since highschool. It's been in storage waiting for a new home for a while now along with the Sub and wiring.
I wonder if I should think about replacing the crappy head unit with the one I have.... Or maybe you guys would be interested in buying it from me if I decide not to use it? bneale |

There are some really good Pioneer models out there for less than $300. But that is just pioneer, there are other highend brands that will look good in the FR-S that are cheaper than the Bespoke.

I love that radio and will be rocking it for awhile!!
Totally fits with the 80s/90s look and feel, and it has ACTUAL BUTTONS instead of shitty touchscreen crap. |

FWIW, the second video is Spring Mountain/Pahrump, which is an awesome track!

I do agree with the buttons part. I don't like having to look at a radio to operate it.

I am ok with buttons, but I want the radio to look like it belongs in a $25,000 car. Toyota\Scion knows how to do better. Even if you hate the Bespoke's touch screen (the only way to show apps and maps) you can control the system by your voice, so you hands never leave the steering wheel. I believe you can also somewhat control the base unit with your voice too.
Some Pioneer units that will work. Remember you really need to go Dual Din in the FR-S for a good look. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...rs/AVH-P2400BT http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...s/AVH-P1400DVD If you don't care about LCD screens, this is the best pioneer system but it is single din: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...vers/DEH-80PRS Alpine: http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/ida-x305s/ http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/cde-hd138bt/ JVC: http://mobile.jvc.com/product.jsp?mo...hId=148&page=1 http://mobile.jvc.com/product.jsp?mo...hId=139&page=1 |
