Invidia Dual Resonated Front Pipe

Has anyone had any experience with it? Can’t find much info on the dual res version of Invidia’s front pipes. Any issues in the quality? How is the tone when paired with UEL headers and a catback that’s on the quieter side

My only local options for a dual res are the Invidia or the HKS. Everyone’s said the HKS cracks, how does the Invidia hold up being priced the same with the same piping diameter?

Finally, on Invidia’s website they say the dual res front pipe is only compatible on a MT yet no other vendors mention this in their listing description... not sure what’s up with that.

The first variants of HKS would crack, the newer versions seem to be good, as an HKS owner myself I can bow for the quality of their Dual Res F.P.

Head to my Instagram account "shrapnellbranches". I got some exhaust clips with my old exhaust set up, JDL UEL headers, Invidia OP, HKS D.R FP, and Invidia Q300.

I recently upgraded to HKS Spec-L catback, which is a louder exhaust, but with my current setup is very respectful and bearable for city driving and highway.

Thanks, I personally would prefer the HKS but still weary of going with it as if they have fixed the issue, I don’t think there’s anyway of me knowing that the HKS pipe they send me is one of the newer variants or not (since I’ll be buying from a retailer and not directly from HKS)

I would go HKS and take the chance. JDL has dual resonated FPs for MT and AT cars. They would ship International I bet if you work with the owner. There quality is off the chart.

JDL looks good but it’ll probably be an additional $100+ in shipping. Think I’ll probably try HKS if Invidia isn’t worth trying.

My third option was an SME 2.5 dual res but they’re sold out until early- mid 2022 :/.

Do you know why some FP are Manual specific? Is there something in the MT that gets in the way of the piping

Yes this could be the case for certain brands
