Protip: dont leave bird poop on your car for months. Keep a soft microfiber towel in your car and some detailing spray. Soak the poop with the spray, spray the towel with the detailer and try to scoop it off. Parking under trees this is daily upkeep. I've been using ONR as a detailing spray but the meguiars or mothers stuff is fine too.

Can't wait to get a house with an actual garage!

Just keep a bottle of water in the car... Wet a tissue paper, put it on the poop and let it soak for a couple mins and wipe it off

Bird "poop" is a mixture of feces and urine since they don't have separate systems for each. This makes it one of the worst possible things you can get on a car.
As said if it was there long enough to cut through the clear coat there is little to be done. You may be able to minimize the contrast with some buffing but the spots will always be visible.

Finally, fair game. Reminds me of the story.....

A guy is sitting at the bar, pretty hammered, and he pukes on his shirt. "Oh crap, my wife is going to kill me, this is a brand new shirt.". Bartender says, " I know what to do, where is your wallet". Guy takes out his wallet, bartender grabs a $20 and puts it in his shirt pocket. "Tell your wife some drunk guy stumbled into you and puked on your shirt, and gave you $20 to get it cleaned". "Oh, thanks!" The guy says.

Guy goes home and wife is waiting at the door. Guy gives his wife the story, and tells her the $20 is in his shirt pocket. She reaches in to get it. Wife says, " there is $40 here? Guy says, "yea, he also shit in my pants."

If the compound didn't work, you'll have to wetsand it down carefully starting from the least aggressive (3,000*2,500 * 2,000 *1,500 *1,000) grit because you don't want to remove so much clear coat. Hopefully, that will remove the damage if it's not too deep. Watch how it's done on YouTube by AMMO NYC, Pan the Organizer, or Apex Detailing

Experiencing @humfrz backing up a Saturn in a parking garage is pretty poop inducing as well!

Welp, yes, I admit that I backed into that post -

However, that was a dumb place to put a post and (obviously), I wasn't the first person to run into it -
