IDK wheel gap looks smaller. Maybe evidence of the supposed new Sachs suspension bits?

This is actually a good point. While the stock rims wound up looking better in real life once I had the car, I still was happy to replace them and I've felt they've always been a little weak for the car. The fact that the TC comes with 18" (and better looking) stock adds insult to injury.

I'll miss the fangs
Yeah, I guess it's a personal thing but I've always liked the fangs too. One of my bigger complaints about most of the lip kits is they wind up hiding them.

Looks okay, and I'll probably like it a lot more when I see the real body lines,

However, as someone who followed the production and saw every revealing from the concepts to the production cars, I can authentically say that the 1st bumper will always be more sentimentally significant to me.

Hopefully when I hear the word "FR-S" the first thing that will come to my mind will be the one with the 2013-2016 bumper.

This thread is too tame, lets kick it up a notch.

Think i see some turbo noises coming from the engine.

Is it possible that this is special edition model instead of a model-wide facelift?

I'll keep saying it. I like the wheels. Light, tough, round. It's a $25K sports car. What more do you want?

Me too.

I like the FRS/86 front bumper as it is, but new taillights could be interesting.

Look at all those tomatoes and what appears to be maybe oranges growing right on the side of the road there!

I'm far more interested in what's under the skin than the superficial looks of a new body kit.

I know its really just a face lift, but it wouldn't hurt to improve the CAI with say a better snorkel in the bumper (improve / increase air flow), smooth out the torque dip (updated factory tune) and even go so far as upgrade the diff ratio. Though subtle, its these sorts of inexpensive changes that could improve the car and help them renew interest in the platform.

I'm happy with the stock wheel size myself, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to update the design and, more importantly, go a little lighter to further enhance handling.
