Morimoto XB LED Headlights Opinion

Saw these Morimoto XB LED Headlights posted on Reddit's r/ft86 page. These look pretty snazzy, similar to my Series-10's lights but a little more aggressive. Any opinions?

I’ve had them for a couple months now. The light output is an upgrade over the OEM FRS headlights and ANY aftermarket headlight option. It’s about on par with the OEM BRZ and 86 LED lights. Tbh wait till a major holiday and on morimoto website they should have a holiday discount. Any questions about them, feel free to PM

Also interested in these. Are the DRLs bright in direct light during the daytime?

Yes during the daytime they are visible, they also have a nice feature, when the headlights turn on, the drl strip dims like OEM. With my Winjet headlights the DRL strip was full brightness at night and some people thought I was high beaming them

Do you happen to have a photo of their output at night?

I've had these on for 3 months so far, I love the light output at night. The DRL's are very noticeable and look great, and I love them a lot more than my previous set of Winjet headlights.

The light output is much better than my Winjet & OEM headlights with aftermarket LED/HID low beams (I've tried both, on both headlights).

I agree with @KungFuWaffle, so far these have the best lighting output than all the other aftermarket options that I've seen in person. Winjet, V-land, Spec D, Spyder.. the best part is that I didn't even have to adjust them. I plugged them in and they lined up perfectly!

My led strip seems dim compared to your pic. Do I have to connect the drl harness for the 2013 frs?

You shouldn't have to. Might just be the lighting. There may be a way to brighten it up. Maybe contact the company?
