I made nothing public until YOU complained about not getting responses. Even then I gave no details other than to explain why I never responded.


Even I get frustrated/bored/butthurt/angry with the forum users every now and then and just go away for a week or two. I eventually get over it and come back and carry on. Some day I just won't come back and the place will continue as if I never existed.


If you feel the forum "sucks" you can try to do what you can to change it, learn to live with it and the diversity of people that it contains or just not come back. I have seen 100s come and go and although I really miss some of them it is their call if they stay or leave.


I make loads of jokes about the amount of time I (and others) spend here but am under no illusion that people are going to change just because I would like them to.

Except for the compressor click issue, our Suburban has done this before (multizone climate control though). It's because the actuators for the gates get out of synch with the controls. There's a process to fix it (make sure system is off, pull the fuse, wait at least one minute, replace the fuse, start the car, wait at least two minutes while the system resets/synchronizes).

Probably not what is going on here but just thought I'd mention it.

LOL You still missed what I was doing even with my horrid conclusion to that sentence. I was going for irony in defending bad grammar with bad grammar. I guess it was too subtle to catch and I broke my own rule of making sure if shooting for irony you go so far over the top that it can't be mistaken for something else. That was why I said it was right for the "application" I was using it for.
